Buying New Build Property ‘Off Plan’ in
France
The Construction Process
Buying a new property from plan in France
is a simple, straightforward procedure with
specific construction stages. Projects are
launched approximately 8-10 months before
construction begins and we present below an overview
of the different stages involved.

Scale Model
French developers as a rule do not build show houses.
The sales office will, however, generally have a
scale model of the project.

Field / Site
When a new project is launched it is just a field or
site. From our visits we bring back a selection of
photographs showing the site and surroundings. It is
the ideal stage to view.

Site under construction
Construction progresses according to the legal stages
noted in the reservation contract. The concrete stage

requires some vision!
