The new properties for sale
On the stunning Pink Granite coast, in peaceful
traditional surroundings, within walking
distance to the village centre, a stylish
development of attractive modern Breton
architecture offering a selection of apartments
and town houses. The houses benefit from a
small hedged private garden and a garage. The
apartments, in low rise one storey buildings
will have a balcony and allocated parking
space. The houses and apartments will be
attractively mixed within the development in
order to preserve the sense of openness of the
spacious grounds and planted communal gardens.
Internally the properties will be fitted to a
high standard to provide comfortable
accommodation for both permanent or holiday
living. The village centre caters for all daily
needs with shops and restaurant. There is a
“boulangerie” a few
steps from the entrance to the development. The
main market and harbour town of Paimpol is a five
minutes’ drive away. There is a small
beach within 15 minutes’ walk from the
development. A highly recommended project in a
much preserved area of Brittany which has
retained its traditions.
The area
Nestling in the protected bay of Paimpol, Ploubazlanec is a pretty
small fishing village which has kept its
authentic character. It was once famous for its
Iceland and Newfoundland fishing fleet as
depicted in the French author Pierre Loti’s novel. The
area is extremely picturesque and unspoilt and
the charming pink granite island of Brehat
lies just a short boat
ride away. The fishing and leisure port of
Paimpol is five
minutes drive away along a very scenic road. It
offers a wide selection of local seafood
restaurants, fine boutiques and shops and a
lively market. Paimpol also has a well
appointed marina and a number of sailing and
diving schools. Both Ploubazlanec and Paimpol are within easy
access of St Malo
ferry port and Dinard international
airport (1hr’s drive).
