With good access from the UK, long popular with the
British, Picardy’s
white cliffs from Boulogne to Calais provide
dramatic scenery on the Côte d'Opale. Long sandy beaches
give way inland to lush countryside with wooded
hills, ancient forests and spectacular Gothic
cathedrals and châteaux.

memorial cemeteries.
The medieval town of Amiens is the regional capital
and offers cultural and gastronomic delights.
