The area

The Quiberon Peninsula is one of south Brittany’s most striking features (10 miles long). It offers some magnificent sandy beaches on its eastern side which are family favourites and superb playgrounds for children. The west side of the peninsula is a dramatic and wild stretch of rugged cliffs and coves aptly named Cote Sauvage. A great beach and outdoors location the area boasts some 25 miles of hiking paths and 10 miles of cycling lanes. Quiberon is also a reputed sailing and diving centre. Quiberon town centre has a good selection of seafood restaurants, shops and boutiques, a traditional market and lively fish market.
